Our shop-at-home service makes selecting the right material easy and convenient. Tom personally visits each home or business to discuss design ideas, take detailed measurements, and bring a variety of samples so clients can see exactly how colors and textures will look in their space. This approach eliminates guesswork and helps every client make confident decisions.

Tom began his career in 1987 installing carpet for Marshall Fields and Carson Pirie Scott. By 1988, his skill and dedication inspired friends and neighbors to request his help in their own homes, leading him to open Villano Interiors, Inc. Tom continued installing for many years before managing the commercial flooring department of a family-owned carpet store, where he learned the logistics and scale of larger flooring projects.

In 2005, Tom decided to dedicate his full time and focus to growing Villano Interiors. As clients began requesting more complete home solutions, he expanded the company’s offerings to include hardwood, tile, accent walls, and countertop installation. His involvement with the Chicago Flooring Association, where he served on the board, allowed him to build valuable relationships within the industry and stay current on the latest materials and techniques.

Tom believes that seeing a client’s space in person provides the best understanding of their goals and style. This personalized attention has been the foundation of Villano Interiors’ success and has allowed the business to grow almost entirely through referrals and repeat customers. Clients often mention the company’s professionalism, honesty, and the peace of mind that comes from working with someone who treats every home as if it were his own.

When he is not working, Tom enjoys golf and spending time with his family. He is also proud to serve as a board member for Avenues to Independence, an organization that supports individuals with disabilities, and continues to volunteer his time to help strengthen his community.
